Travel Status Update | July 2015

It has been too long since my last destination post! I promise that I will start posting more frequently! Being new at travel blogging, I’ve found that it can be a bit challenging to find time to write and prepare good travel blog posts while busy traveling! A bit of a quandary. I know. But, my intent is to provide informative posts of high quality with good photo coverage that are well worth your time, and of course that requires some time. I’m sure that I’ll get quicker with posting as time goes on 🙂

I’ve been traveling continually for 4.5 months now and have been to 7 countries during that time. It feels like only a week! I am amazed at how fast the time goes when in this constant traveling mode. Always something new to see and do, and continually meeting new people. I’ve met hundreds of people, made many new friends among them, and rendezvoused with many old friends. Everyone has been wonderful.

To date, since I began my travels a few months ago at the beginning of March, my posts have included destinations in China, South Korea, and northern Vietnam. Since my last post (Sapa, in northern Vietnam) about a month ago, I have been to various destinations in northern Vietnam, southern Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Specifically, during late May to early July, I traveled to the following destinations in Vietnam and Thailand. I’ll soon be adding posts for these destinations.

Vietnam — Tam Coc and Ninh Binh; Da Nang; Saigon (aka Ho Chi Minh City or HCMC); Vung Tau; and Dong Xiao.

Thailand — Chiang Mai; Mae Hong Son; Huay Seau Thao; and Doi Inthanon.

My very next destination post will be for Tam Coc, Vietnam. This area in the northern Vietnamese countryside is gorgeous! I think your going to like the photos!

Presently, I am visiting friends and family in Singapore and touring Malacca in Malaysia. And, next, I’m hopefully off to various destinations in Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Australia, New Zealand, Qatar, Dubai, Italy, Scandanavia, and Croatia. After that, not sure yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as I know! Eventually, I hope to make my way to destinations in South America and to the coast of Antartica.
