Welcome to my travel blog. I’m Kurt Patrizi, a recently escaped corporate denizen, and now a perpetual world traveler with a bit of a zeal for photo-documenting my travels. Perpetual? I mean that I don’t have a year-round home. I am now location independent, that is, constantly roaming the world and inhabiting locations for several weeks to several months. Travel for me is not vacation. Rather, I have created a lifestyle from which I do not need a vacation. I love travel. I love photography. But, mostly, I love travel photography.
I hope that you enjoy this ongoing accounting of my travels, with an emphasis on photos. The photos that I select for each post are those that I believe provide a good representation of that destination — not all of them are what I regard as my best photographs, but for purposes of this blog, they don’t need to be. Rather, collectively, they need to serve well in representing the particular destination.
In each of my blog posts, I usually begin by providing a bit of background information about the destination, information about my activities at the destination, and my observations about the destination. Then, toward the end of each post, you will find a gallery or galleries of my photographs from that destination. At the very end of each post, you will find an area where you can provide comments or ask me questions. Please feel free to provide me with any comments that you may have on any particular post. I would love to hear from you.
I encourage you to subscribe to this blog. If you subscribe, you will receive an email notification each time I add a new destination posting, or update an existing posting. Of course, I will not share your email address with any person or organization (see my privacy policy).
Please note that those images that I do regard as my best photography are located on my photography website at www.endlesstravelerphotography.com. My photography site features what I believe are my best, or most interesting photos, or just my favorite photos, grouped by destination and tagged.
To date, throughout my lifetime, I have been to over 40 countries. And I hope to get to most of the 160+ countries in the world. Most recently, during March 2015, I began what I hope will be several years of travel around the world. And that is where the timeline for this travel blog begins — with my March 2015 arrival in China, which was my fifth trip to China.
If you desire more information than I have provided in any particular destination post, please comment at the end of each post, or send me a message via my Contact Form. I am more than happy to provide you with information such as my lodging choice, restaurants, local foods, interesting sights and activities, suggested itineraries, and so forth.
I also actively share my travel experiences at other locations on the web — to which I have provided the links — including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and my photography website.
